Sales Director - (M&A) - Data - Research

Salary: Circa $150k base Double OTE
Location: Singapore

Our client is a fast growing and well respected global operation, hence the need for a strong Business Development Director based in Singapore. The main focus is to utilise value based selling skills and experience to identify revenue opportunities and build a presences across the SEA region.
You will be the first hire in Singapore and pending on success become the lead sales person for the SEA region.

Our client provides a unique solution to allow the flow and sharing of critical and highly sensitive information, they sell to  the banking, Private Equity and corporate marketplace. Until now most of the sales effort to this region has come via Australia, this is an unprecedented move to invest in the region and build a strong business within SEA.
There is some existing client base to inherit but this role is predominately new business driven, you will be responsible for generating, managing and closing new name business in the region.
You will have around 5 years of successful sales experience selling ideally within the financial markets. Experience gained previously at a financial software or data/research provider is highly advantageous. Any previous experience or exposure to the M&A marketplace is highly beneficial.


Previous experience in solution or value selling is required, strong presentation skills and entrepreneurial flair will put you in good stead here. This role reports outside of Singapore so equally requires someone to be used to or ready to stand alone in the short term. Fantastic business and earning potential!!
