Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Our client is looking for an individual to take on the Human Resources leadership across Electronic and Post Trade businesses in their US business. The individual will be responsible for managing a team of 2. They will be responsible for end to end HR support including compensation planning, employee relations management, implementation of effective people management strategies and ensuring that Company policies and procedures are adhered to across the business. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will be expected to work in collaboration on strategic initiatives with specialist teams including recruitment, training and organizational development, and HR operations.

- Principal Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

- Partner with the business to provide comprehensive HR support to client base and their teams. 
- Deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization
- Coach business leaders on all matters of organizational effectiveness
- Translate business strategies and objectives into the appropriate HR actions and initiatives
- Ensure proper implementation and execution of HR programs and initiatives including talent management, year-end process and workforce planning
- Analyze HR specific trends and metrics in an effort to proactively develop solutions, programs and polices
- Pro-active and compliant handling of employee relations matters
- Advise on new and forthcoming employment legislation and assist in compliance with employment law
- Managing employee grievances, disciplinary issues, conflict resolution, and employment terminations

Collaborate with global counterparts to provide seamless support in a highly matrixed organization.

Professional/Technical Skills:

- Proven track record in HR Relationship Management roles
- Understanding/experience of the Financial Services Industry preferred
- Able to deal with complex, varied issues, covering the entire HR spectrum
- Proven ability to both deliver and develop pro-active HR practices and initiatives; navigating change in a fast paced, international corporate environment
- Track record of rapidly establishing effective working relationships with senior management
- Tangible evidence of creative thinking and ability to build consensus around ideas
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of the wider external HR environment and how best practice can be adapted /developed to support firm-wide strategies
