Job Description

Our Client is a leader in building platform and developer tools and working with the best infrastructure providers to change how businesses interact. They work with some of the largest companies in the world to harness the transformative power of smart contracts – a component of the distributed ledger technology (DLT) stack – and revolutionalize the way applications are developed, deployed and used to solve real-world business challenges.

In this position, you will be responsible for growing and delivering new Institutional customer acquisition targets and managing a team of sales. You will support them to establish and build the company and combine your knowledge of the institutional clients’ market with your business acumen to bring greater brand awareness and increase new customer generation.

You will need to have excellent solution sales and people skills as you will be a part of the Management team, interacting with both internal and external stakeholders. To be a successful Head of Sales, you will need to be highly entrepreneurial, having an extensive network of market contacts and have a good understanding of Blockchain and DLT.

This is a key hire for them in the region.

What you will be doing

Develop and execute a sales strategy to bring institutional clients as per business targets
Build and scale presence in Hong Kong through extensive professional network
Ensure the best possible service to our clients and partners, and to represent the interests of those clients and partners within ecosystem
Support and collaborate with the rest of the management team to establish and build the company
Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies

Qualifications

Possess a University degree with 10+ years of experience in Sales and Business Development in Financial Services
Deep knowledge in banking, capital markets, financial services, blockchain, DLT
Strong Buy-side and Sell-side connections
Experience in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, experience engaging with C-suite
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
Build value propositions that deliver a compelling message
