An award-winning fintech organisation delivering cutting-edge financial markets technology, SaaS platforms, and data solutions is seeking a Sales Manager – Japan to drive strategic growth in one of the most sophisticated financial ecosystems globally.
This is a high-impact role suited to a commercially driven professional who understands the Japanese banking, asset management, trading, or payments landscape and can navigate complex enterprise sales cycles. You will play a key role in expanding market share, building partnerships, and shaping regional go-to-market strategy while working closely with APAC leadership.

Responsibilities
• Drive new business revenue across Japan within financial institutions, brokerages, fintech firms, and market infrastructure providers.
• Develop and execute territory and account strategies aligned with regional objectives.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including Heads of Trading, CTOs, and Operations leaders.
• Manage full sales cycles from prospecting through negotiation and closing.
• Collaborate with marketing, pre-sales, and product teams to tailor solutions to local market needs.
• Provide accurate pipeline forecasting and market intelligence.
Qualifications
• Fluent Japanese and English (written and spoken).
• 5+ years of enterprise sales experience within fintech, financial data, trading platforms, or SaaS.
• Strong understanding of Japanese financial markets, regulations, and client expectations.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder deals.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
Day-to-day
• Meet prospective clients and maintain relationships with key accounts.
