Duties And Accountabilities
Experience leading and managing development teams
Lead teams in design and development of “Big Data” infrastructure for batch and real-time analytics.
Ensure highly interactive response times. Avoid allowing performance bottlenecks to creep into the system.
Interpret and analyse business use-cases and feature requests into technical designs and development tasks.
Be an active player in system architecture and design discussions.
Take ownership of delivery, participate in regular design and code review meetings.
Work with several teams (in multiple worldwide locations).
Be delivery focused, have a passion for technology and will enjoy offering new ideas and approaches.
Education and Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Computer Science and Software Engineering : Strong software development experience: Ability to build production software in Scala or Python
Distributed file systems/databases/systems
Be able to demonstrate commercial experience on big data/advanced analytics projects
Linux/Unix.
Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, computational complexity.

Our client is a global fintech offering a data & analytics SaaS platform to the investment management community. They are now looking to expand their finance operations capacity with an experienced and passionate FP&A Manager to join the London team.
What you will be doing:
• Providing assistance in the creation of decision-influencing board & leadership decks, succinctly and powerfully summarising the business’ aims and strategy.
• Helping to facilitate planning & execution of group restructuring and support in any future financing transactions.
• Create and maintain dynamic Excel models for group-level budgeting & forecasting, as well as for non-trivial calculations, such as volume-based transactions.
• Work effectively and collaboratively with other international teams, especially Sales & Marketing to ensure that core KPIs are updated and used to drive stronger company performance.
• Support & ultimately own key operational processes around audit, tax, annual filing requirements, HR, feedback cycles & payroll, making and executing recommendations to drive efficiency.
• Deploy a strong working knowledge of SME ledger systems (Quickbooks/Xero) and solid bookkeeping skills, capable of running UK accounting as well as intercompany consolidation and group-level management accounts.
• Set ambitious goals for yourself and demonstrate commitment in delivery of these under the supervision of the CFO.
• Work closely with relevant suppliers and source cost-effective new service providers to support the business’ rapid growth.
• Other ad hoc responsibilities as may be requested to support the group and the UK entity.
What you will bring:

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant, with at least 2-3 years’ post-qualification experience.

ETF Product Manager

Some of the responsibilities you will have include:
Be the SME for ETF composition data products and shape the product strategy and roadmap for ETF solutions.
Address broader audience requirements (Banks and Asset Management clients) regarding extent of serviceable financial market data, to revamp product offerings and build new features and solutions.

What you will be doing;
Work with decision makers / product owners to define business financial and operational requirements to help identify and resolve issues.
Review and Analyse new and existing systems as well as develop new strategies to improve these systems.
Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems
Create systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers.
Provide guidance and support as well as coach more junior members of the team.
What you will bring;
5+ years of Business Analysis skills within Banking or Financial Services.
Demonstrated Business analysis skills.
Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions.
Experience working in a team oriented and collaborative environment.
Knowledge of Capital Markets is desirable.
This candidate must be London based and willing to travel into the office 1 – 2 days per week.
