Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the organization’s liquidity position to ensure adequate funding for operational needs and investment opportunities.
- Monitor, analyze, and forecast cash flow positions, including long-term liquidity planning.
- Develop and implement best practices for liquidity risk management strategies in alignment with company objectives.
- Maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and relevant stakeholders to optimize funding structures and secure favorable terms.
- Prepare and present periodic liquidity reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Assess potential risks to the organization’s liquidity and recommend measures to mitigate these risks.
- Collaborate with finance and treasury teams to improve financial systems and streamline processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards in all aspects of liquidity management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a liquidity management, treasury, or financial planning role.
- Strong understanding of cash management, financial modeling, and liquidity risk management principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or relevant certifications, such as CFA or CTP, are a plus).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and systems, as well as Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash positions and ensure transactional accuracy.
- Execute liquidity strategies, including short-term financing and investment activities for optimal cash utilization.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Identify and address discrepancies or inefficiencies within the cash management process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess financial needs and identify funding opportunities.
- Conduct regular reviews of market conditions to stay informed of relevant industry trends and potential financial risks.
- Attend team meetings, providing insights and recommendations regarding liquidity and financial performance.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all liquidity-related activities.
