Presales Consultant, Hong Kong

A fast growing payments infrastructure provider operating across Asia is seeking a Presales Consultant to support enterprise clients in Hong Kong and Greater China.

The company provides payment infrastructure that enables businesses to accept payments, manage disbursements, support marketplace models, perform identity verification, and reduce fraud risk. Its technology helps businesses scale efficiently by simplifying both domestic and cross border payments.

Serving thousands of businesses ranging from SMEs to large enterprises, the platform processes millions of transactions each month and continues to expand its presence across key Asian markets.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of Presales, this role will be based in Hong Kong and will focus on supporting enterprise and high growth merchants across Hong Kong and Greater China.

Working closely with the Sales team, the Presales Consultant will support complex and consultative engagements by designing tailored payment solutions that meet both technical and commercial requirements.

You will engage with both business and technical stakeholders, design scalable payment architectures, and guide clients through integration processes. The role acts as a trusted technical advisor helping enterprise clients navigate payment infrastructure, APIs, and system integrations.

Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English is required.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales and Solution Design

• Engage enterprise merchants across Hong Kong and Greater China to understand business and technical requirements
• Translate complex payment needs into scalable solutions using the company’s payment platform
• Lead technical discovery sessions with stakeholders across business, finance, and engineering teams
• Present solution architecture clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Support RFP processes, product demonstrations, and technical workshops

Integration and Project Management

• Guide clients through API integrations and onboarding processes
• Advise on integration with ERP systems and existing internal platforms
• Manage project milestones to ensure smooth go live execution
• Document technical requirements and agreed solution architecture
• Coordinate internally with sales, product, engineering, and operations teams

Market and Product Expertise

• Maintain strong knowledge of payments developments across Hong Kong and Greater China
• Stay up to date on product capabilities and workflow improvements
• Provide structured feedback from client engagements to product teams

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in presales, sales engineering, or solution consulting roles
• Background in payments, fintech, SaaS, ERP, or related technology environments
• Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technical functions
• Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English
• Strong presentation and communication skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with enterprise merchants in Hong Kong or Greater China
• Strong understanding of APIs, payment gateways, and integration workflows
• Experience designing cross-border or multi-market payment solutions
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Commercial awareness and ability to support revenue-driven sales discussions
