About the Role
We’re seeking a Sales Director to lead payments-focused growth across Japan. You’ll be responsible for driving blockchain-based payments adoption, engaging with leading players across the payments, fintech, and financial services ecosystem.
What You’ll Do

Own and execute the payments sales strategy across Japan

Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets

Build and maintain strong client relationships

Prospect, plan, and manage accounts to grow new opportunities

Collaborate with regional sales teams, Sales Engineers, and product teams

Maintain accurate pipelines and reporting within CRM
What You’ll Bring

Deep knowledge of the Japanese payments industry

Proven SaaS/enterprise sales experience within payments, fintech, or financial services

Track record of closing complex, high-value deals and overachieving targets

Strong understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrency markets

Experience working with technology partners and co-sell motions (preferred)

Fluent in Japanese, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Entrepreneurial mindset with strong hunting and prospecting ability
