A leading digital asset trading and solutions firm in Asia is seeking a Sales Trader to support its institutional client base. The firm provides a broad range of digital asset products, including spot trading, fixed income strategies, vanilla options, and bespoke structured products.
Founded in 2017, the company operates at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets, helping institutional clients integrate digital assets into their portfolios, balance sheets, and treasuries.
Role Overview
The Sales Trader will work closely with clients to provide market insights, trading ideas, and product solutions. The role involves pricing and executing trades across simple and complex products, structuring new offerings based on client needs, and supporting trading operations while managing risk and regulatory compliance.
This position requires flexibility to work across different time zones, including weekend coverage.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide clients with market updates, trade ideas, and structured product insights
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their trading needs
• Price and execute trades across multiple products and desks, from spot to exotics
• Ideate structured products based on client feedback and market opportunities
• Ensure compliance with internal risk protocols and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate trading activities with operations, technology, and analytics teams
• Continuously seek process improvements in trading and client service
• Support shifts across different time zones, including weekends
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in global markets trading; FX options or digital assets experience preferred
• Proven experience as a Sales Trader or similar client-facing trading role
• Strong risk awareness, analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency markets and trading preferred
