Role Overview

This is a high-impact Senior Data Engineer role focused on building and scaling financial data platforms that underpin analytics, reporting, and decision-making across a complex fintech environment. You’ll work with large, business-critical datasets, owning end-to-end data pipelines that support both operational and commercial use cases within financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL

• Ingest, transform, and model complex financial datasets

• Partner closely with analytics, product, and engineering teams

• Improve data quality, reliability, and observability

• Contribute to cloud-based data architecture decisions

Required Experience

• Strong experience with Python and SQL

• Background in data engineering within fintech or financial services

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

• Proven ETL / ELT pipeline development experience

• Solid understanding of data quality and governance principles

Nice to Have

• Market or reference data exposure

• Experience with dbt, Airflow, or similar tools

• Regulatory or reporting data knowledge
