C++ Developer (Low Latency Trading Systems)

EC1 Partners is working with a leading global electronic trading firm looking to hire a C++ Developer into their Singapore team, focused on building and optimising high-performance trading systems.
This role sits close to the trading engine, working on order management, internal messaging, and connectivity to global markets.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and enhancing a high-performance trading platform
- Developing order management and internal messaging components
- Working on connectivity to external trading venues
- Optimising systems for low latency and high throughput
- Analysing and improving performance across distributed systems
What we’re looking for:
- Strong C++ development experience
- Exposure to Java
- Experience working in Linux environments
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, data flow)
- Interest or experience in low latency or high transaction systems
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Mandarin language skills required (working with China-facing stakeholders)
Candidates with 1–3 years’ experience are ideal, though strong graduates will also be considered. Fast-paced environment, strong engineering culture, and the chance to work directly on systems that sit close to live trading.
