Strategic Account Executive (Sydney / Melbourne, ANZ Region)
As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be at the forefront of an enterprise sales strategy, focusing exclusively on the largest and most strategic accounts across the ANZ region. This is a high impact role dedicated to hunting and closing large, complex deals that will drive significant revenue growth. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, leading complex, multi-year sales cycles from end to end and directly influencing market presence.
What you will do:
● Own and exceed a significant annual New ACV target by focusing on a limited portfolio of Tier 1 strategic accounts across ANZ
● Lead and manage complex, multi-year sales cycles from initial qualification through to deal closure and handover to delivery teams
● Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing consultative expertise and presenting the full value of a cloud-based platform
● Conduct in depth research and analysis of industry and market developments to help shape the go-to-market strategy for enterprise segments
● Create and deliver compelling proposals and strategic responses to high value RFPs, coordinating negotiations to ensure commercially sound outcomes
● Build and maintain strong, long term relationships with key stakeholders within target organisations
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product, Legal, and Delivery to align resources and expertise for strategic opportunities
What you will bring:
● 7 to 10+ years of experience in an Account Executive role within FinTech or B2B SaaS
● A strong track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and closing high-value enterprise deals
● Demonstrated ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and multi-touch sales cycles
● Experience selling SaaS or financial services technology into regulated markets, with a solid understanding of cloud-based delivery models
● A consultative sales approach, with the ability to challenge customer thinking and guide them toward effective solutions
