Vice President / Head of Sales – APAC

About the Company

A leading Asset management firm with a strong international presence is seeking a senior business development leader to grow its APAC client base.

The firm manages significant assets across Indian equities, fixed income, and private credit strategies. Its international subsidiary raises capital from global investors to invest in these India-focused strategies, with offices in Singapore, New York, London, Paris, and Dubai. The international business manages several billion USD in assets for professional and institutional investors.

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the CEO of the APAC subsidiary, the Vice President will be responsible for:

• Driving sales and distribution of the firm’s international and India-focused investment products, including long only funds, ETFs, and alternative strategies
• Developing and managing relationships with institutional clients across APAC, including:
– Asset owners such as sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and endowments
– Bank and private bank intermediary channels
– Family offices
– Strategic partnerships with asset managers
• Identifying new business opportunities to generate revenue and strengthen client relationships
• Building and promoting the firm’s brand in the region
• Maintaining CRM systems and tracking sales pipelines
• Coordinating investor queries, due diligence requests, roadshows, client events, conferences, and other brand building activities
• Collaborating closely with internal teams to support business development efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; CFA preferred
• Relevant regulatory license (e.g., CMFAS)
• Minimum 8 to 10 years experience in asset management sales or related financial institutions, with an established regional network
• Willingness to travel up to 30%
• Knowledge and interest in emerging markets, particularly India
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
