VP / SVP, Institutional Sales

A leading global provider of multi-asset trading technology, liquidity solutions, and financial market infrastructure is seeking an experienced Institutional Sales professional to join its growing team.

The firm operates in a B2B capacity, supporting a global network of partners with advanced trading technology, liquidity access, and infrastructure that enables efficient management of trading platforms and client relationships across global markets.

Role Overview

This role is suited to a senior sales professional with strong experience covering institutional clients within financial markets. The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of leveraged FX, precious metals, and securities products, with a strong focus on servicing fund clients trading OTC leveraged products.

You will be responsible for building and developing relationships with investment-grade institutional clients, including trading desks and portfolio managers, while driving new business and revenue growth across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, and closing new business opportunities
• Develop and maintain relationships with institutional clients including hedge funds, asset managers, and professional trading firms
• Build strong relationships with both trading and portfolio management teams within client organisations
• Identify and develop trade ideas and thematic opportunities for institutional clients
• Maintain strong knowledge of product offerings, market structure, and evolving market opportunities
• Work closely with internal trading and research teams to deliver solutions to clients
• Stay up to date with industry developments and provide relevant insights to clients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 8 years experience in institutional sales within financial markets
• Strong experience covering leveraged FX, precious metals, or related OTC products
• Proven experience developing relationships with institutional clients including hedge funds or asset managers
• Strong understanding of financial markets and market structure
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
• Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese required
• Relevant regulatory licensing required to operate in Singapore financial markets (including RES 2B and CM SIP or equivalent)
