Senior Account Executive

EC1 Partners is working exclusively with an innovative FinTech company dedicated to enhancing the financial health and operational efficiency of banks and credit unions. We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to join their dynamic NYC-based team.
What you will be doing:
- Cultivating key client relationships and closing new partnerships to meet or exceed revenue and booking goals with bank and credit union partners.
- Playing a pivotal role in achieving ambitious revenue targets through strategic client engagement and partnerships.
- Maintaining frequent, high-quality contact with clients and partners to ensure ongoing success, acting as a senior point of contact while relaying critical feedback to the founding and product teams.
- Independently launching and driving major initiatives around partnerships and client growth, positioning yourself as each client’s primary advocate within the firm.
- Organizing and managing client databases and calendars, setting benchmarks for best practices in CRM utilization, meeting cadence, and communication touchpoints.
What you will bring:
- Experience as an account executive or in partnerships within finance, banking, or technology.
- A proven track record of cultivating, closing, growing, and maintaining key, high-value client and partner relationships.
- Exceptional organization and professionalism, along with comfort in data-driven business development practices.
- Ability to handle ambiguous problems and shifting priorities with flexibility and skill.
- Enthusiasm for life- and career-changing work in a startup environment.
- High emotional intelligence (EQ), trustworthy, and calm under pressure.
- A strong interest in financial systems, markets, technology, and banking.
- 5+ years of sales experience.
