General Counsel
Our client is one of the most respected and reputable venues for liquidity in the world. They offer next generation trading software, systems and other services in a B2B capacity. They provide support to Tier one institutions and brokers.
Requirements:
Advise on a wide range of legal and regulatory issues relating to company products and services in the electronic trading space, in Europe and internationally, including licensing.
Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and review of a wide range of contracts. Provide legal guidance on contractual obligations and risks.
Manage and protect the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.
Proactively monitor and assess the impact of regulatory developments in order to devise product changes to future-proof core products and support the development of emerging products.
Develop strategies and advise on a wide spectrum of issues, including consumer protection; data security, protection and privacy; anti-money laundering and licensing.
Partner with the business on new product and services developments and enhancements.
Assist and advise on the company’s global licensing strategy and work closely with Compliance to manage our growing licence portfolio.
Assist and advise on substantive legal matters that relate to employment, litigation, consumer complaints and investigations.
What you’ll need:
5-8 years of legal experience in an in-house role for a regulated financial services company, in private practice,or in Fintech.
Ability to translate complex and ambiguous legal principles into clear and concise advice business teams can act on.
Excitement about having a seat at the table in the development of the legal jurisprudence around trading.
Ability to have some fun and enjoy your days while working hard to implement solutions across the business.
Excellent communications skills. Providing crisp and practical legal advice and synthesising complex regulatory constructs succinctly and effectively, especially in circumstances where application of the law to the underlying technology and related products is unclear.
Excellent business judgement, analytic rigour, and legal pragmatism.
Ability to navigate through legal ambiguity with a high degree of focus.
Active membership of a law society as a barrister or solicitor.

Data & Transformation – This global exchange is looking for a Programme Manager to join there Data & Transformation organisation. They are looking for a Programme Manager to work on projects within the Data & Analytics’ Transformation portfolio.
What you will be doing:
As the programme Manager you will be managing multiple projects of large size/complexity while working with other senior members of the team to ensure technical & business objectives are achieved.
Delivering software delivery programmes within the restriction of scope, time and cost.
Being able to manage large programmes while working independently.
Monitoring the costs, timescales and resources. used within the project.
Consistently updating senior stakeholders around the progress of project and any issues faced.
What you will bring:
Financial services experience, as well as multiple years experience working on complex large projects.
Project Risk & Staff Management experience.
Previous experience working on Data & Transformation projects within a Global Orgranisation (ideally within financial services)
Experience delivering projects both in waterfall & agile.
Extensive Stakeholder Management experience.

What you bring
Up to 5 years project management experience in L2 FX Trading support role
Degree in Computer Science/Electronics or any IT stream
Experience in networking protocols, VPN, Extranet connectivity understanding of TCP/IP concepts.
Knowledge on Unix, SQL, C, C++, Java
Exposure to OMS/EMS products and Electronic Trading Domain

You will report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) who is based in London, and interact with international sales, pre-sales, professional services, product management and other team members. Roles and Responsibilities:
Primary focus is on the identification, qualification, management and closure of new sales opportunities across both existing customers and new prospects using the MEDDIC methodology.
Responsible for creating and driving sales opportunities in the EMEA territory through the sales process.
Leverage critical resources across the organization to support the sales process.
Responsible for taking ownership of customer issues, focusing on providing them with the most advantageous solutions
Use of initiative – anticipating requirements and pro-actively seeking ways to add value for customers

Position Requirements:
Experience from a software company selling cloud front office solutions (Saas).
Capital Market experience is a plus.
Experience with sales methodologies (such as MEDDIC).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Passionate about delivering high quality service to customers, with focus on continuous improvement
Bilingual English and German is a plus.
