Position Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated NDF Salesperson to join their London team specialising in the EMEA region. This role focuses on developing and driving Non-Deliverable Forward (NDF) sales for institutional clients, primarily within emerging markets. The successful candidate will work closely with the FX sales and trading desks to deliver bespoke NDF solutions to clients and will be responsible for increasing revenue by building long-term relationships with new clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop New Business: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for NDF products across the EMEA region, focusing on institutional clients such as hedge funds, asset managers, and financial institutions.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as the primary point of contact for NDF product offerings, market insights, and solutions.
- Product Expertise: Demonstrate expert knowledge of the NDF product suite and provide clients with insights into market trends, pricing, and strategies. Strong understanding of trade flows and catering products to meet the EMEA clientele needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the FX sales, trading, and technology teams to ensure clients are receiving optimal solutions, tailored pricing, and support.
- Client Support: Ensure client satisfaction by providing ongoing support, addressing concerns, and offering market insights, while ensuring seamless execution of transactions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 4-7 years of experience in FX sales, with a strong emphasis on NDF products. Experience with emerging markets and familiarity with institutional clients in the EMEA region is preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of NDFs, FX markets, derivatives, and emerging market currencies. Knowledge of pricing, execution, and risk management is a plus.
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to drive sales and build long-term client relationships. Experience in cold calling, lead generation, and deal closing in financial markets is essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex financial products and strategies to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to identify market opportunities, evaluate risks, and provide insightful recommendations to clients.
- Regulatory Awareness: Knowledge of FX market regulations in the EMEA region and understanding of best practices in compliance and risk management.
